2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website together with our content and services, or where processing is permitted by law. Personal data means any information that can be used to identify you.

The legal bases for processing are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures), Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR (legal obligation) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interests).

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes the data generated when the site is accessed on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The site is delivered through a global server network, so your request is normally answered from a location near you.

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in server log files:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing device
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and the security of our website. This data is not merged with other data sources. Log files are deleted after 30 days unless they are exceptionally required to investigate a security incident.

4. Cookies and Analytics

This website does not set any cookies beyond those technically required to operate the site. There is no tracking, no audience measurement and no integration of third-party analytics or advertising services. For this reason, no consent banner is displayed.

5. Contacting Us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide — in particular your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry — in order to handle your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We delete this data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Processing in the Course of Our Services

Within client projects we may be granted access to our clients' advertising accounts and reporting. Where personal data is processed in that context, we act as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR on the basis of a separate data processing agreement. In these cases the client company remains the controller.

7. Transfers to Third Countries

Our company is established in the United States of America. When you contact us, the data you provide is therefore processed in a third country within the meaning of the GDPR. Where required, such transfers are based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR or, for contract-related enquiries, on Art. 49 (1) (b) GDPR.

The United States does not provide a level of data protection fully comparable with European law; in particular, access to data by US authorities cannot be ruled out.

8. Your Rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • Access to the personal data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

An informal message to the email address above is sufficient to exercise these rights.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).

10. Data Security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar starting with “https://”. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

11. Changes to This Policy

We update this privacy policy whenever changes to our website or to the legal framework make it necessary. The version published on this page applies.
